Please read these terms before booking. They explain the ground rules for the SimpliSmart website, My SimpliSmart accounts and services. A written quote, order or service-specific agreement may add to these terms; if it directly conflicts, the more specific document controls for that service.
1. About SimpliSmart
SimpliSmart provides practical technology setup, troubleshooting, training and support for homes, properties and very small businesses. Our website may let you check availability, request or book service, create an account and purchase eligible products or services.
2. Using the site and your account
You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter an agreement. Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized account activity. You are responsible for activity through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, scrape the site at scale, impersonate someone, or use an account or service for unlawful activity.
3. Bookings, quotes and service scope
A booking request is not confirmed until SimpliSmart accepts it and sends confirmation. Availability, timing and online estimates may change after we learn more about the equipment, property or problem. Before performing materially different work or adding a charge, we will explain the change and ask for approval. Prices may exclude taxes, permits, parking, materials, replacement equipment or third-party subscriptions unless the quote says otherwise.
Our Appointments, Arrival & Cancellation Policy is part of these terms.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide safe and lawful access to the service location, an adult authorized to approve work, accurate information, reasonable access to relevant devices and utilities, and any building, landlord, employer or account-holder permissions required for the work. Please secure pets and valuables and tell us about hazards or special access needs in advance.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important data before service. We will use reasonable care, but device failure, malware, encryption, pre-existing damage and data corruption can make recovery impossible. Share passwords only when truly necessary and change temporary credentials afterward.
5. Property and business customers
If you arrange service for a tenant, resident, employee, customer or property you do not personally own, you represent that you have authority to do so and to provide related information and access. Responsibility for charges and service decisions follows the applicable quote, order or account arrangement.
6. Third-party products and services
Internet providers, device makers, software companies, marketplaces and other third parties control their own products, availability, warranties, subscriptions and terms. SimpliSmart may help configure or troubleshoot them but does not control their performance, policies, outages or continued compatibility. Recommendations are based on the information available at the time and are not a guarantee that a third-party product will meet every need.
7. Payment, cancellations and refunds
Payment timing and accepted methods will be shown in the quote, booking flow or order. Any cancellation, no-show, travel or diagnostic fee will apply only if it was clearly disclosed and accepted before the booking. Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method when practical. Our Refunds & Service Resolution Policy explains the review process. Nothing in these terms limits a refund, cancellation or other right that cannot legally be waived.
8. Intellectual property
The site, SimpliSmart name and brand materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Our Copyright & Trademark Policy explains permitted use and how to report a concern.
9. Practical service limits
Technology changes and sometimes fails without warning. Except for promises expressly included in a written quote or service-specific warranty, services and the website are provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. SimpliSmart does not provide emergency response, alarm monitoring, law-enforcement dispatch, medical monitoring or guaranteed cybersecurity. Contact the appropriate emergency service when safety is at risk.
We do not exclude warranties, remedies or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
10. Responsibility if something goes wrong
Each party remains responsible for losses it causes as provided by applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SimpliSmart is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for failures caused by a customer, unsafe conditions, pre-existing damage, a third-party product or service, internet or utility outage, or events beyond reasonable control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Statutory cancellation rights
Some transactions made at a home or away from a seller’s regular place of business may carry a legal right to cancel, including rights that can apply to qualifying home-solicitation sales. Where required, we will provide the separate notice and cancellation form required by law. These terms do not shorten or waive those rights.
12. Questions, disputes and applicable law
Please contact us first so we can try to solve a concern directly. These terms are governed by applicable United States and state law, without taking away consumer protections that apply where you live. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver.
13. Changes
We may update these terms for future use of the site or future bookings. Material changes will not retroactively change a confirmed order unless the parties agree or law requires it. Questions can be sent through the Contact page.
