Our goal is simple: clear expectations, useful updates and respect for your time and home. Appointment windows are estimates rather than a promise of arrival at an exact minute.
Before your visit
- Confirmation: A requested time is not final until SimpliSmart sends a confirmation.
- Arrival window: Your confirmation will show an appointment time or arrival window. Travel, weather, building access and earlier appointments can affect timing.
- Updates: We will use reasonable efforts to let you know about a meaningful delay or schedule change using the contact information on the booking.
- Preparation: Please have an adult with authority to approve work present, make the work area reasonably accessible, secure pets, arrange parking or gate access, and have relevant devices, cables, account access and utilities available.
- Permissions: Customers arranging service for a rental, workplace or managed property are responsible for needed owner, landlord, tenant, employer, building and account-holder permissions.
When we arrive
The technician may first diagnose the issue and confirm the scope. If the recommended work, parts or price is materially different from what was booked, we will explain the options and get approval before continuing. If a safe or lawful repair is not practical, we may stop and recommend another provider or next step.
Running early or late
We may ask whether an earlier arrival works for you, but you do not have to accept it. If we expect to miss the confirmed window, we will make a reasonable effort to update you and offer a practical choice, such as waiting, selecting a later time or rescheduling.
Canceling or rescheduling
Use the method in your booking confirmation, your My SimpliSmart account when available, or the Contact page as soon as you know you need a change. Any cancellation, no-show, travel or diagnostic fee will apply only if the amount and conditions were clearly shown and accepted before you booked. We will not invent or add a fee after the fact.
If no one can provide access
If an authorized adult is unavailable, we cannot safely access the location, or required equipment or utilities are not available, the visit may need to be shortened or rescheduled. Any charge will follow only the terms disclosed and accepted with that booking.
If SimpliSmart changes or cancels
If we need to change an appointment, we will offer another available time. If we cancel and cannot provide a suitable alternative, any prepaid amount for service not delivered will be refunded. We are not responsible for unrelated costs caused by delays beyond what applicable law requires.
Safety and conditions at the property
We may pause or decline work because of electrical, structural, environmental, sanitation, harassment, aggressive animal or other safety concerns. We may also decline work that would be unlawful, violate a third party’s rights or require a license or specialty outside the agreed scope.
Parts and customer-provided equipment
Availability and compatibility of parts or equipment can affect completion time. If you provide equipment, you are responsible for its purchase terms, condition and return eligibility; we will use reasonable care but cannot guarantee that a third-party product is compatible or defect-free.
After the visit
Please tell us promptly if you have a service concern, with enough detail for us to review it. Depending on the situation and any written service-specific warranty, the practical resolution may be additional troubleshooting, a return visit, correction of our work or an appropriate refund or credit. Your legal rights remain unchanged.
Emergencies and legal cancellation rights
SimpliSmart is not an emergency, alarm-monitoring, medical-monitoring or dispatch service. Contact the appropriate emergency provider if people or property are at immediate risk.
Some qualifying sales made at a home may include a statutory cooling-off or cancellation right. Where required, we will provide the separate legal notice and cancellation form. This policy does not reduce those rights.
